Using creative methods to engage students and nurture well-rounded musicians since 2006.
With both Private & Group lesson packages available, each lesson is creatively crafted to your musical interests and ability. Lessons are given to online students all over the country, and in-person to students in McPherson, Kansas.
In the Spring of each year the studio hosts a Recital, providing an opportunity for students to build confidence on-stage and perform for a supportive audience of families and friends. Students can also get peer performance experience at bi-monthly piano parties, as well as ensemble piano experience at the Multi-Piano Christmas Festival. Students also participate in KMTA’s Music Progressions each Spring, as well as other event opportunities as they arise throughout the year.
Every summer students work on composing an original piece of music. Then we notate & record it for our annual Young Composers Project. This puts into practice some of the music theory they have learned during the year, while exercising their creativity!
Most importantly, I love music, and want you to love it too. Experience has shown me that those who take joy from making music carry it into the rest of their lives. I work hard to find the music students will love, and teach them the skills they’ll need to harness that gift.
